METODE RESITASI KELOMPOK DAN METODE RESITASI MANDIRI BERBASIS KARAKTER DAPAT MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Peranan pendidikan dituntut untuk lebih menyeluruh dalam pembinaan tidak
hanya pada hasil belajar saja tetapi juga terhadap sikap dan perilaku yang harus
dimiliki oleh siswa kususnya siswa SMK. Menanggapi hal tersebut perlu akan adanya
pendidikan yang mampu merubah sikap kearah yang lebih baik karena terkait hal
tersebut juga akan berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa. Pembelajaran yang perlu
diterapkan harus mampu mencakup keseluruhan demi pencapaian hasil belajar yang
baik serta membentuk sikap berkarakter siswa yaitu dengan menggunakan pendidikan
berkarakter. Tidak kalah pentingnya menentukan metode pembelajaran yaitu
menggunakan metode resitasi mandiri dan resitasi kelompok berbasis karakter.
Penerapan metode tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, respon
siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek pada siswa kelas XI TKR 4 SMK PGRI I
Sidoarjo dengan objek penelitian metode resitasi kelompok dan metode resitasi
mandiri berbasis karakter menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang
memiliki beberapa tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.
Penelitian dilakukan pada mata diklat Overhoul sistem pendingin dengan
menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil belajar siswa dapat
tercapai apabila nilai siswa ≥ 78 dan ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 80%. Metode yang
dikatakan efektif adalah metode yang memiliki ketuntasan klasikal lebih besar.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan respon siswa terhadap metode resitasi kelompok
adalah 81,67% dan metode resitasi mandiri adalah 78,18%. Rata-rata persentase
aktivitas siswa terhadap metode resitasi kelompok adalah 82 % dan metode resitasi
mandiri adalah 78 %. Ketuntasan hasil blajar siswa terhadap metode resitasi kelompok
adalah 91 % dan resitasi mandiri adalah 85 %. Metode resitasi kelompok lebih efektif
dibandingkan dengan metode resitasi mandiri hal ini terlihat dari kekuntasan klasikal
yang didapatkan.

ABSTRACT
The role of education must be more thorough in coaching not only on
learning outcomes, but also the attitudes and behaviors that must be possessed by the
student specially vocational students. Responding to the need to be the education that
can change its attitude towards the better because it will also be related to an effect
on student learning outcomes. Lessons need to be applied should be able to cover the
whole for the achievement of learning outcomes as well as shape the attitudes of
students characterized by using character education. No less important to determine
the learning method is to use an independent recitation and method of characterbased
groups recitation. Application of the method aims to increase student activity,
student responses and student learning outcomes. This study used subjects in class XI TKR 4 SMK PGRI I Sidoarjo with the
object of research methods group recitation and recitation method using characterbased
independent Classroom Action Research (CAR), which has several stages of the
planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Research carried out the training of
the subject is Overhoul cooling sistem by using descriptive qualitative and
quantitative methods. Student learning outcomes can be achieved if students score ≥
78 and ≥ 80% classical completeness. The method is effective is the method that has a
larger classical completeness.
The results showed students' response to the recitation method was 81.67%
and independent recitation method was 78.18%. The average percentage of student
activity group recitation of the method was 82% and independent recitation method
was 78%. the results of students' mastery of the methods of recitation learn group was
91% and was 85% self-sufficient recitation. Group recitation method is more effective
than self-recitation method it can be seen from a classical completeness obtained.
