Abstract
This research was conducted against the background of the need for a module for Motorcycle Practice courses at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Surabaya State University. In addition, students still do not fully understand the practical material. With these problems, this research focuses on developing a PjBL-based Motorcycle Engine Cylinder Head Overhaul Module. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the developed module. The type of research used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model (Four D Models) consisting of the stages of defining (define), designing (design), developing (develop) and disseminating (disseminate). This research was conducted in the even semester of 2022/2023 in the Motorcycle Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Surabaya State University, involving one Motorcycle Practice class with a total of 9 students. The data analysis technique used is included in descriptive statistics where the data that has been calculated is analyzed. After validation to experts in the aspects of material, language and design, qualitative data collection is carried out and then processed into quantitative data arranged in the validation recapitulation. The results of this study indicate that the module as a whole is declared feasible with a percentage of 81.25% after calculating the average of the expert validator's assessment.
