Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine how students learning results at SMK Kartanegara Kediri are affected by the use of the "Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) trainer" as a teaching tool. Using a design where a pre-test and post-test are conducted on experimental group, the methodology is quasi-experimental. A multiple-choice exam including 25 questions was used to measure learning objectives, and SPSS 27 was used for analysis.
The t-test for paired samples, N-Gain test, and normalcy test prerequisites were used in this study's data analysis, which was conducted using SPSS 27. The pre-test and post-test It was determined that the data exhibited a normal distribution by the normality test, with Shapiro-Wilk significance values of 0.296 and 0.768 (>0.05). With a significance level of 0.00 (<0.05), the paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference the learning results before and after the ABS trainer was applied, demonstrating how well this medium improved student learning outcomes. The average score of 0.610 (designated as "Moderate") and the effectiveness percentage of 61% (designated as "Fairly Effective") were displayed in the N-Gain computation results. To sum up, using the ABS trainer as a teaching tool has a significant and moderately positive impact on student learning results.
