PENGARUH LATIHAN ANIMAL MOVEMENT TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN OTOT PADA REMAJA ATLET SHORINJI KEMPO KOTA SURABAYA

Abstract

Kekuatan daya tahan merupakan komponen fisik krusial bagi atlet Shorinji Kempo dalam mempertahankan intensitas teknik selama durasi pertandingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Animal Movement Latihan (AME) terhadap peningkatan kekuatan daya tahan pada atlet remaja. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain one-group pre-test post-test terhadap 10 atlet laki-laki (usia 17,8 ± 3,2 tahun). Instrumen tes meliputi push-up, crunch, dan back-up selama 60 detik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test melalui software SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada variabel ketiga: push-up meningkat sebesar 23% (p=0,002), crunch meningkat 17% (p=0,014), dan back-up meningkat 33,5% (p=0,042). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah intervensi AME selama enam minggu efektif meningkatkan daya tahan otot lengan, perut, dan punggung secara signifikan. Latihan ini direkomendasikan sebagai variasi program conditioning yang fungsional dan efektif untuk atlet bela diri.
