Penelitian ini menggunakan teori alih wahana dengan judul Transformasi Novel Critical Eleven Karya Ika Natassa ke dalam Film Critical Eleven Sutradara Robert Ronny dan Monti Tiwa. Novel Critical Eleven Karya Ika Natassa menceritakan tentang tokoh Ale dan Anya yang dipertemukan dalam sebuah penerbangan pesawat. Pada tahun 2017 novel tersebut diangkat menjadi film dengan judul yang sama. Novel Critical Eleven karya Ika Natassa terdapat segi alur, latar, tokoh dan penokohan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah terjadinya tiga perubahan yang meliputi alur, latar, tokoh dan penokohan dari novel menjadi film. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan objektif karena menitikberatkan pada teks sastra yang kelak disebut strukturalisme atau instrinsik. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan perubahan alur, latar, tokoh dan penokohan yang terjadi dari novel menjadi film. Manfaat penelitian adalah kajian ekranisasi dan alih wahana mampu menjadi disiplin ilmu teori sastra dan menambah khazanah atau ilmu tentang teori sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua sumber data utama, yakni kutipan berupa kata, penggalan kalimat, uraian kalimat, dialog/percakapan antar tokoh yang didapat dari novel dan transkripsi film Critical Eleven. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perubahan berupa tahapan alur yaitu alur paparan, rangsangan, gawatan, rumitan, klimaks, leraian, dan selesaian di dalam novel ke film. Dari segi alur terdapat 22 perubahan. Dari segi latar, perbedaan yang paling menonjol adalah jumlah latar. Dalam novel terdapat 66 latar sedangkan dalam film hanya terdapat 38 latar.

This study uses the theory of Alteration under the title Transformasi Novel Critical Eleven Karya Ika Natassa ke dalam Film Critical Eleven Karya Ronert Ronny dan Monti Tiwa. Eleven critical novel by Ika Natassa tells about Ale and Anya who met in a plane flight. The novel made into the film with the same title in 2017,. Critical Eleven Novel by Ika Natassa has plot, setting, character and characterization of a novel into a film. The focus of this study is the change that includes the plot, setting, character and characterization of a novel into a film. This study uses an objective approach because it focuses on literary texts later called structuralism or intrinsic. The research objective was to describe the changes in plot, setting, characters and characterizations that occur from the novel into a movie. The benefits of this research is Alteration which able to become disciplines of literary theory and increases the science of literary theory. This study uses two main data sources, which is a word, a sentence fragment, sentence description, dialogue / conversation between characters derived from the novel and the transcription of Critical Eleven film. Data collection technique used documentation techniques. Data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive technique. The results showed a phase change in the the stages of flow of exposition, inciting, action, rising action, complication, climax, falling action, and resolution of the novel into a movie.. There are 22 changes in plot. The most notable difference is the number of background. In the novel there are 66 background while the film only has 38 background.
