Abstract
This study aims to describe how digital poetry uploaded by Fiersa Besari and published on his YouTube channel between 2020 and 2023 utilizes digital platforms to create meaning. This analysis utilizes Katherine Hayles' theory of intermediation, focusing on the concepts of dynamic hierarchy and fluid analogi. This approach explores how multimodal elements—text, audio, visuals, movement, and space— interrelate to construct meaning, atmosphere, and aesthetic experiences for viewers. The data source is digital literature in the form of digital poetry on Fiersa Besari's YouTube channel between 2020 and 2023. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a digital ethnographic approach. Data collection employed observation, notetaking, and documentation. The results describe a harmonious blend of various media, with dynamic hierarchical shifts that follow the poem's narrative flow, consisting of a beginning, conflict, and ending. The digital poetry produced by Fiersa Besari present a dynamic and temporal intermediary aesthetic, where meaning is formed not only from the lyrical text, but also through interacting audio, visual, and movement elements. The interconnectedness of these various media creates an emotional experience that engages the reader. Therefore, thus study confirms that Fiersa Besari’s digital poetry reflects digital literary practices that align with Hayles’s intermeditation persperctive and broadens the understanding of poetry aesthetics within the scope of digital media.
