Pengaruh Jenis Benang Terhadap Hasil Jadi Halter Neck Macrame

Macrame adalah seni kerajinan simpul dekoratif yang di buat dari tali maupun benang yang dibentuk dalam pola geometris sehingga berbentuk aneka renda, maupun hiasan busana yang pembuatannya dikerjakan sepenuhnya menggunakan tangan.  Macrame dalam penelitian ini diterapkan pada halter neck dress. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga jenis benang yang berbeda, yaitu katun, polyester dan nylon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil jadi halter neck macrame menggunakan benang polyester, katun dan nylon, untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis benang terhadap hasil jadi halter neck macrame, dan mengetahui hasil jadi halter neck macrame yang paling baik. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen, yang memiliki variabel bebas 3 jenis benang yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi. Observasi dilakukan oleh 30 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji ANAVA tunggal dengan signifikansi 5% (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, dilihat dari kategori mean dan hasil analisa data, hasil jadi halter neck macrame berdasarkan aspek kerapatan benang, kerapihan macrame, dan penerapannya pada busana, benang polyester mendapatkan hasil terbaik, katun pada posisi kedua, dan nylon mendapatkan hasil terburuk. Sedangkan pada aspek kerataan motif dan daya pakai, benang polyester mendapatkan hasil terbaik, nylon pada posisi kedua, dan katun mendapatkan hasil terburuk. Hal ini karena sesuai dengan hasil kriteria yang baik pada kerapatan benang, kerataan motif, kerapihan macrame, penerapan halter neck macrame pada busana dan daya pakai. Berdasarkan hasil anava tunggal diperoleh hasil signifikan, sehingga ada pengaruh jenis benang terhadap hasil jadi halter neck macrame. Hasil terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah halter neck macrame menggunakan benang polyester.

Abstract

Macrame is a decorative knot art craft made of rope or yarn formed in a variety of geometric patterns that shaped lace, and ornate clothing manufacturing is done entirely by hand. Macrame in this study applied to the halter neck dress. This study uses three different types of yarn, namely cotton yarn, polyester yarn, and nylon yarn. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of halter neck macrame using cotton, polyester, and nylon, to determine the influence on the type of yarn to the final result of halter neck macrame and to know the best results on the results of halter neck macrame. This research considers as an experimental research, which has three independent variables of different types of yarn. The data collection used the method of observation. Observations made by 30 respondents. Analysis of the data used one-way ANOVA test with a significance of 5% (p <0.05). The results can be seen from the categories mean and the data analysis. The result of halter neck macrame based aspects of yarn density, neatness of macrame, and its application in clothing, polyester yarn obtain the best result, cotton in the second position, and nylon get the worst result. While the flatness of motive and aspect of utility, polyester yarn obtain the best result, nylon in the second position, and cotton get the worst result. This is because according to the criteria of a good result on the density of the yarn, the flatness of motives, netness macrame, application of macrame in halter neck dress, and utility. Based on the results of one-way anava obtained significant results, this means that there is the influence of the type of yarn on the results of halter neck macrame. The best result of  halter neck macrame on this research is  using polyester yarn.
