Pengaruh Kadar Alkohol Sebagai Pelarut Cat Acrylic Terhadap Hasil Jadi Hand Painting Pada Cascade Skirt

Hand painting adalah salah satu teknik seni lukis diatas kain yang cukup populer dikalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis cat acrylic dengan pelarut alkohol, memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh kadar alkohol yang digunakan sebagai pelarut cat acrylic terhadap hasil jadi Hand Painting meliputi ketajaman warna, kerataan warna dan daya serap warna. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Adapun variabel bebas adalah pelarut dengan kadar alkohol 30%, 40% dan 50% , proporsi warna merah muda (putih : 0,30 gram dan merah : 0,90 gram). Variabel terikat adalah hasil jadi Hand Painting. Variabel kontrol adalah desain, jenis cat, jenis pelarut , dan teknik pewarnaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi oleh 30 observer. Dan analisis data yang digunakan, anava tunggal dengan bantuan program SPSS 16. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik uji anava, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketajaman warna memiliki nilai F_hitung  sebesar 22.770 dengan harga p sebesar 0.000. Harga p sebesar 0.000 < α 0.05, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap ketajaman warna. Pelarut alkohol 50% menghasilkan warna lebih tajam daripada dengan pelarut alkohol 30% dan 40%. Kerataan  warna memiliki nilai  F_hitung  sebesar 5.645 dengan  harga p sebesar 0.005. Harga p sebesar 0.005 < α 0.05, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kerataan warna. Pelarut alkohol 30% dan 40% menghasilkan warna lebih rata daripada dengan pelarut alkohol 50%. Daya serap warna diperoleh nilai  F_hitung  sebesar  0.014 dengan harga p sebesar 0.986. Harga p sebesar 0.986 > α 0.05, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap daya serap warna. Pelarut dengan kadar alkohol 30%, 40% dan 50% memiliki daya serap warna yang sama.

Abstract

Hand painting is a technique of painting on fabric which is fairly popular within society. This research using acrylic paint with solvent of alcohol, aimed to know the effect of alcohol concentration which used as solvent of acrylic paint toward the outcome of hand painting including color sharpness, color flatness, and color absorption. Type of this research is experimental. The independent variable are solvent with alcohol concentration 30%, 40%, and 50%, the proportion of color is pink (white : 0.3 gram dan red : 0.9 gram). The dependent variable is the outcome of hand painting. The control variables are design, type of paint, type of solvent, and coloration technique. Data collection method used is observation by 30 observers and data analysis used is one way anava assisted with SPSS 16. Based on analysis result of anava test, could be concluded that color sharpness obtaining score F_calculation 22.770 with value of p 0.000. Value of p 0.000 < α 0.05, then could be said that there is significant effect toward color sharpness. Alcohol solvent 40% and 50% produce color sharpness better than alcohol solvent 30%. Color flatness obtaining score F_calculation 6.645 with value of p 0.005. Value of P 0.005 < α 0.05, then could be said that there is significant effect toward color flatness. Alcohol solvent 30% and 40% produce color flatness better than alcohol solvent 50%. Color absorption obtaining score F_calculation 0.014 with score of p 0.986. Score of p 0.986 > α 0.05 then could be said that there is no significant effect toward color absorption. Alcohol solvent concentration 30%, 40%, and 50% have result of color absorption that not sharp enough.
