PERBEDAAN HASIL JADI CELANA KULOT ANTARA METODE POLA ZERO WASTE DENGAN METODE POLA PORRIE MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN BERKOTAK

Abstract

Tujuan penelitiannya ini (1) mengetahui adanya perbedaan hasil jadi celana kulot dengan metode pola zero waste dan pola Porrie Muliawan dan (2) mengetahui manakah hasil jadi celana kulot terbaik dengan metode pola zero waste dan pola Porrie Muliawan ditinjau dari aspek bentuk celana, ukuran, ketepatan motif, dan kenyamanan pemakai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah komparatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi dengan metode expert judgement. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan bantuan SPSS 23 dengan taraf nyata α ≤ 0,05.Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan hasil jadi celana kulot antara metode pola zero waste dengan metode pola porrie ditinjau dari aspek bentuk celana, ukuran, ketepatan motif, dan kenyamanan pemakai dan (2) hasil celana kulot terbaik adalah metode pola porrie. Hasil temuan lain di penelitian ini yaitu metode pola zero waste memiliki kelebihan pada (1) aspek waktu yang lebih cepat , lama waktu pengerjaan dengan metode porrie adalah 218 menit sedangkan zero waste 163 menit. (2) aspek kebutuhan bahan membutuhkan lebih sedikit, , kebutuhan bahan dengan metode porrie adalah 175 cm sedangkan zero waste 110 cm. (3) aspek limbah kain zero waste tidak menghasilkan limbah kain. (4) Aspek tingkat kemampuan membuat pola zero waste mudah dibuat oleh orang awam yang kurang terampil membuat pola kontruksi metode porrie.

The purpose of this research are (1) to know the difference in the results of being culottes pants with the zero waste pattern method and Porrie Muliawan pattern and (2) knowing which results are the best culottes pants with the zero waste pattern method and Porrie Muliawan pattern in terms of pants shape, size, and accuracy of motives, and user comfort. This type of research is comparative. The data collection technique in this study is observation and uses an observation sheet instrument that has been validated by the expert judgment method. The data analysis technique used t test with the help of SPSS 23 with a real level α ≤ 0.05. The results of the data analysis stated that (1) there were differences in the results of culottes between the zero waste pattern and the porrie pattern method in terms of pants shape, size, accuracy of motives, and comfort of the user and (2) the best culottes results are the porrie pattern method. Other findings in this study are the zero waste pattern method has advantages in (1) a faster time aspect, the length of time to work with the porrie method is 218 minutes while the zero waste is 163 minutes. (2) the aspect of material needs requires less, the material requirements using the Porrie method are 175 cm while the zero waste is 110 cm. (3) aspects of zero waste fabric waste does not produce fabric waste. (4) Aspects of the level of ability to make zero waste patterns easily made by lay people who are less skilled at making construction patterns of the Porrie method
