Pengaruh Ketebalan Kain Taffeta Terhadap Hasil Jadi Lengan Belimbing (Starfruit Sleeve) Pada Bolero

Lengan memiliki jenis yang bermacam-macam, salah satunya yaitu lengan belimbing (Starfruit Sleeves). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketebalan kain taffeta terhadap hasil jadi lengan belimbing (starfruit sleeve) pada bolero. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Variabel bebas adalah kain taffeta tipis (0,07 mm), sedang (0,08 mm) dan tebal (0,17 mm), variabel terikat adalah hasil jadi lengan belimbing (starfruit sleeve) ditinjau dari aspek kestabilan bentuk, volume, dan kerataan. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah anava tunggal dengan bantuan program SPSS 15.

Hasil uji anava menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kain taffeta tipis, sedang dan tebal terhadap hasil jadi lengan belimbing (starfruit sleeve) (meliputi: kestabilan bentuk, volume, dan kerataan). Kain taffeta tebal menghasilkan bentuk lengan belimbing yang sangat baik dibandingkan dengan kain taffeta sedang maupun tipis. Kain taffeta sedang dan tebal menghasilkan volume lengan yang sangat baik dibandingkan dengan kain taffeta tipis cukup baik. Kain taffeta tebal menghasilkan kerataan lengan yang sangat baik dibandingkan dengan kain taffeta tipis maupun sedang.

Abstract

Sleeve has a variety of types, one of which is starfruit sleeve. This research aimed to know effect of taffeta fabric thickness toward the outcome of starfruit sleeve on bolero.

Type of this research was experimental research. The insdependents variables were taffeta fabric of thin (0,07 mm), moderate (0,08 mm) and thick ()0,17 mm), dependents variables were the outcome of starfruit sleeve viewed from shape stability, volume and flatness. Data collecting method was observation. Data analysis used was one way anava with SPSS 15 program. Anava test result shows that there was significant effect among thickness of thin, moderate, and thick toward the outcome of starfruit sleeve (involving: shape stability, volume and flatness). Produce thick taffeta fabric shape starfruit sleeve very good compared with taffeta fabric moderate and thin. Taffeta fabric moderate and thick produces starfruit sleeve excellent volume while thin taffeta fabric produces a pretty good starfruit sleeve volume. Medium and thick taffeta fabric flatness produces a very good starfruit sleeve, while the thin taffeta fabric flatness produces a good starfruit sleeve.
