Pelatihan Pembuatan Dompet Makrame Dari Kain Perca di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah KH. Achmad Dahlan Surabaya

Pelatihan diberikan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mendorong orang berwirausaha. Salah satu pelatihan yang dapat diberikan yakni dengan memanfaatkan kain perca seperti halnya pelatihan pembuatan dompet makrame dari kain perca di Panti Asuhan KH. Achmad Dahlan Surabaya yang menjadi pembahasan pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) aktivitas instruktur (2) aktivitas peserta (3) hasil pelatihan (4) respon peserta pelatihan pembuatan dompet makrame dari kain perca di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah KH. Achmad Dahlan Surabaya.

Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni metode observasi, tes, dan metode angket. Metode observasi digunakan untuk menilai aktivitas instruktur dan aktivitas peserta pelatihan. Jumlah observer pada pelatihan ini sebanyak tiga orang yang terdiri satu orang pengurus Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah KH. Achmad Dahlan Surabaya dan dua orang lainnya mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan. Tes digunakan untuk menilai hasil pelatihan pembuatan dompet makrame dari kain perca oleh peneliti. Sedangkan metode angket digunakan untuk mengetahui respon peserta terhadap pelatihan, adapun jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil pengambilan data diolah dengan menggunakan persentase (%). 

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aktivitas instruktur pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua dalam pelatihan terlaksana dengan baik, tepat dan sistematis. Aktivitas peserta pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua juga memenuhi kriteria penilaian baik, yakni dilaksanakan dengan tepat, dan sistematis. Hasil pelatihan pembuatan dompet makrame dari kain perca ditinjau dari aspek ketepatan teknik makrame, keserasian dan kerapian memenuhi kriteria penilaian sangat baik. Respon peserta terhadap pelatihan pembuatan dompet makrame dari kain perca hampir semua jawaban positif, namun ada dua aspek yang belum terpenuhi jawaban “ya” sempurna yakni aspek materi yang mudah dipahami dan demonstrasi yang mudah dipahami. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa materi yang diberikan cukup sulit bagi peserta namun setelah didemonstrasikan oleh instruktur, peserta lebih memahami. Selain itu juga pelatihan ini relatif baru dan menyenangkan bagi mereka dan perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The training is given as part of efforts to encourage entrepreneurship. The one of the training that can be provided by utilizing the patchwork as that the training of making macramé purses of patchwork in Muhammadiyah KH. Achmad Dahlan Orphanage Surabaya that discussed in this research. The purpose of  the research are: (1) instructor activites (2) participants activities (3) the product of macrame purses (4) participants responses at the training of making macramé purses of patchwork in Muhammadiyah KH. Achmad Dahlan Orphanage Surabaya.

The method of collecting data using  the method observation, performance test, and method questionnaire. The method observation used to assess the instructor activities and participants activities at the training. The number of observers on the training consisted of three people from one of the managers KH. Achmad Dahlan Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Surabaya and two people students majoring in education. Performance test used to assess the product of purses at the training of making macramé purses of patchwork by researcher. While the method questionnaire used to determine the participants responses at the training activities, as for the number of respondents as many as ten people. The captured data is prosessed by using a percentage.

The result of the research showed that all instructor at the first and the second meeting in the training activities got criteria of a good assessment, carried out by precise and systematic. Activities of the participants at the first meeting and the second meeting got criteria of a good assessment. The product of macramé purses of patchwork review of aspect of macramé technical provisions, harmony, tidiness got criteria of a very good assessment. Participants responses at the training of making macramé purses of patchwork almost all the positive responses but there are two aspect that have not fulfilled the perfect answer “yes” that explanation of material and demonstration which is easy to understand. It shows that the material provided is quite difficult for participants. But after a demonstration by the instructor, better understood by participants but it is also a relatively new training and fun for them and further developep.
