Banyaknya pelanggaran aturan lalu lintas di Kota Sidoarjo, Sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh oknum penegak hukum untuk mengambil keuntungan pribadi. Hal ini tentunya berkaitan dengan kode etik profesi yang diatur dalam Peraturan Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2011 tentang Kode Etik Profesi Polisi Republik Indonesia Pasal 15 huruf d. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian hukum empiris dengan menggunakan data primer dan lokasi penelitian di Polresta Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak terdapat oknum polisi yang melanggar kode etik aquo. Faktor penegakan hukum diantaranya adalah faktor aturan perundang-undangan, penegak hukum, masyarakat, sarana, serta budaya yang sudah ada di masyarakat.
Kata Kunci : Polisi, Penyalahgunaan Wewenang, Kode Etik Profesi.
Abstract
The number of traffic rules in Sidoarjo City, So that can be exploited by law enforcers for to take personal benefits. This is of course related to the professional code of ethics which is regulated in the Regulation of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2011 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics for the Police of the Republic of Indonesia Article 15 letter d This research is a type of empirical legal research using primary data and the research location at the Sidoarjo Police. The results of research that there are still many police officers who violate the aquo code of ethics. Law enforcement factors is including factors of laws and regulations, law enforcement, society, facilities, and the existing culture in society.
