ANALYSIS COMPARISON OF PILE BEARING CAPACITY BASED ON ANALYTICAL METHOD AND ALLPILE SOFTWARE

Abstract

Foundation planning must consider the bearing capacity of the soil in order to safely carry the load of the structure. So it is necessary to analyze the bearing capacity of the pile based on the analytical approach with the Vesic method and Allpile.V7 software.


This research was conducted with a quantitative approach with a comparative method. The selected methods are expected to be close to the value of the calculation results using Allpile software. Some of the methods used are the Vesic (1970) method to calculate the pile tip bearing capacity (Qp), while the Brom method to calculate the pile side bearing capacity (Qs).


The results of the calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of the pile with the Vesic method (1977)
obtained the result of 3668.69 kN and the Allpile software results of 3608.73 kN with a difference of 1.63%. While the allowable bearing capacity value with the analytical method is 1222.90 kN and Allpile software is 1202.91 kN with a difference of 1.63%.
