KEMATIAN TAN MALAKA SEBAGAI SUMBER IDE PENCIPTAAN SENI LUKIS

Abstract

This creation was motivated by the artist's anxiety regarding public awareness of the history of the figure Tan Malaka which was embodied through a work of painting. Tan Malaka choosen for the main ideas because many controvertion in this figure. The purpose of create this painting is as a lesson in the importance of history for this nation. Therefor this creation expected provide a new perspective on the story behind the murderer of Tan Malaka. In addition, the writing of the creation expresses the artist's feelings about the artist's anxiety about the mystery involved in the murder of an Indonesian national hero, namely the character Tan Malaka. Various questions regarding the mystery and controversy over the death of a Tan Malaka. About the reasons why Tan Malaka was arrested, disappeared, killed until he was declared a hero is summarized in the form of 6 pieces of painting on canvas.
