Abstrak

Karya musik “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” merupakan sebuah ilustrasi komposer dalam mencurahkan pengalaman selama menekuni alat musik saxophone. Komposer meletakkan fokus karya ini melalui instrumen saxophone. Format penyajian karya musik ini adalah format quintet dengan instrumen violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, dan tenor saxophone. Tujuan penciptaan karya musik ini adalah mencurahkan isi dari ide karya komposer ke dalam sebuah presentasi estetis. Manfaatnya adalah memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan bagi komposer, jurusan Sendratasik dan masyarakat khususnya tentang estetika sebuah karya musik instrumen tiup. Metode yang digunakan diawali dengan menentukan rangsang awal dan konsep-konsep awal karya musik. Konsep tersebut dilanjutkan pada proses penciptaan, salah satunya adalah proses latihan. Bentuk lagu karya musik “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” terdapat 6 bagian yaitu A, B, C, D, E, dan F. Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 4   birama pertama sebagai frase tanya dan jawab. 4 birama pertama disebut pertanyaan (antecedent) dan 4 birama berikutnya adalah kalimat jawaban (consequent). Bentuk musik pada karya “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” memiliki beragam perpindahan tempo yang digunakan pun mulai dari tempo lambat sampai tempo keras. Karya musik “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” juga mempunyai variasi perpindahan sukat mulai dari 4/4, 3/4, dan 6/8. Capaian nilai estetis karya musik ini mencakup tiga komponen yaitu kesatuan/keutuhan, kerumitan, dan kesungguhan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karya musik “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” merupakan sebuah karya musik yang memiliki variasi baik setiap bagian lagu, tempo dan perpindahan sukatnya. Jenis musik dengan format quintet  ini merupakan jenis musik yang diinginkan komposer dan memiliki estetika yang dapat ditinjau dari struktur melodisnya.

Piece of music "Quintet For Tenor Saxophone Quintet and String Quartet " is an illustration of the composer devotes experience during instrument saxophone music. Composer put the focus of this work through the instrument saxophone. The format of presentation of the work of this musical quintet format with the instrument is violin 1 , violin 2 , viola , cello , and tenor saxophone. The purpose of the creation of a piece of music is pouring out of the idea of composer into an aesthetic presentation. The benefit is to provide insight and knowledge to the composer , Sendratasik department and the community, especially on the aesthetics of a work of musical wind instruments. The method used begins with determining the early stimulation and concepts - early concept musical works. The concept followed the creation process , one of which is the training process. Forms of songs by musical “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” there are 6 parts : A, B, C, D, E, and F. Each group consisting of 4- first bar phrase as a question and answer.The first 4 bars called the question (antecedent) and the next 4 bars is phrase answer (consequent). Form of music in the works “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” have used a variety of tempo displacement started from slow tempo to hard tempo. Piece of music “Quintet For Tenor Saxophone And String Quartet” also has a disolacement measure of variation ranging from 4/4, 4/4, and 6/8. Achievement aesthetic value of a musical work includes three components such as : unity, complexity, and intensity. It can be concluded that the piece of music " Quintet For Tenor Saxophone Quintet And String Quartet " is a piece of music that has a good variety every part of the song , the tempo and the measure displacement. Type of music with this quintet format is a type of desired music composer and has aesthetic can be seen from its this melodic structure.
