Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Author should first register as an Author through the address: https://ejournal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jurnal-pendidikan-sendratasik/about/submissions. Author should fulfil the form as detail as possible, especially where the star marked form must be entered.

  1. The manuscript is written in Indonesian. The type is an essay with subtitles at any of its parts, except in the introduction and research methods.
  2. Originality is a must, and the manuscript has never been published in any media before.
  3. The systematic of writing:
  • The paper is an original research article or literature review article.
  • ARTICLE TITLE: Consists of 5-12 words. Typed in bold capitalized; single space. Times New Roman font style, 14 pts font size.
  • Author's name (typed in bold; Times New Roman font style; 12 pts font size), include Affiliation/institution name, and also Author’s e-mail address.
  • Abstract: Abstract consists of 100-200 words. Single space typed in one paragraph. Justify alignment of paragraphs, with the beginning of the paragraph indented 1 cm. Keywords: 5 words maximum. Abstracts are written both in English and Indonesian.
  • The main article body consists: Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and also References.

The different subtitle is written in different font style and not using numbers on the title section. The first level in uppercase at all, bold, and align text to the left. The second level, capital in the first letter, bold, italic, and align text to the left.

  • References: The bibliography writing technique refers to the writing scientific papers guidelines that published by the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, 2020 version. The minimum number of references used is 15 references with a ratio of 60:40. Preference will be taken from reputable scientific journals accredited as much as 60%; while references from published and unpublished books are 40%.

Example of writing a bibliography (single space typed):
