PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL GUIDED DISCOVERY DENGAN MODEL INQUIRY PADA PELAJARAN MEMAHAMI SIFAT DASAR SINYAL AUDIO DI SMK N 2 SURABAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan model guided discovery, model inquiry dan model konvensional. Sasaran penelitian yaitu kelas X AV di SMKN 2 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “ Postest Only Control Group Desain”.

Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Tahap pertama yaitu melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model inquiry, model guided discovery serta model konvensional dan kemudian diadakan post-test untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa.

Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara pembelajaran menggunakan model Guided Discovery, model  Inquiry dan model Konvensional. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai F_hitung lebih besar dari pada F_tabel (9,602>3,11). (2) Berdasarkan hasil observasi aktifitas siswa kelas yang menggunakan model inquiry memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,73 lebih baik dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan model guided discovery nilai rata-rata 80,13 dan kelas konvensional nilai rata-rata 79,35.

ABSTRAC

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes using the model of guided discovery, inquiry models and the conventional model. Research target is the class X AV SMK N 2 Surabaya academic year 2011/2012. The study design used is " Postest Only Control Group Desain ".

Methods of data collection in this study gained through, observation of student activity sheets, and student learning outcomes were analyzed descriptively. The first stage of the learning process by using a model of inquiry, guided discovery models and the conventional model and then held post-test to determine student learning outcomes.

From the results obtained, show that: (1) There is a difference between learning outcomes using the model of Guided Discovery Learning, Inquiry Model and Conventional models. This is evidenced by F_hitung value greater than the F_tabel (9.602> 3.11). (2) Based on the observation of classroom activities that students use inquiry models have an average value of 81.73 is better than used class of guided discovery model of the average value of 80.13 and a conventional class average 79.35.
