Abstract

This research aims to design a Website-Based Raw Material Inventory Control Information System Application at the Kabul Group Tofu Factory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and determine the Implementation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in Increasing Production Efficiency at the Kabul Group Tofu Factory. This research uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method which consists of several stages, namely the requirements planning, user design, construction and cutover stages. At the user design stage, manual calculations are carried out using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The results of this manual calculation are used as a reference for the accuracy of calculations in the application to be designed.

The research results show that raw material inventory control applications can be developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The data used in this research is purchase data and raw material usage data during the period January 2022 – December 2022. The results of the research show that the efficiency level is 0.9416, which means it is quite good. From calculations that have been carried out using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, it is found that the number of orders for soybean raw materials that can be ordered is 8,085 kg so that the costs incurred are more economical. The safety stock that must be available at the Kabul Group Tofu Factory is 5,050 kg, this shows that the Kabul Group tofu factory must have an inventory of 5,050 kg in order to anticipate a shortage of soybean raw materials during the lead time so as not to hamper the production process. walking inside the Kabul Group Tofu Factory. Reorder Point (ROP) when the raw material inventory reaches the reorder point that has been obtained, namely 1,140 kg, the Kabul Group tofu factory must make a reorder according to the economic order (EOQ), which is 8,085 kg.
