Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Emerging Information Systems and Business Intelligence (JEISBI) is fully committed to upholding academic integrity and the ethical standards of scholarly publication. All manuscripts submitted to JEISBI must be original works that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Authors are expected to appropriately cite all sources that have influenced their research and writing, ensuring that every idea, data, or text derived from other works is properly acknowledged.
To maintain the quality and originality of published articles, every submission is screened for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection software prior to the review process. The acceptable similarity index is below 20%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the degree of similarity and the nature of the duplication. Any form of plagiarism, including direct copying, close paraphrasing without attribution, or self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the editorial board reserves the right to retract the article and take further action as deemed necessary. By submitting a manuscript to JEISBI, authors agree to adhere to this plagiarism policy and acknowledge their responsibility for maintaining the originality and integrity of their work. The journal continuously strives to ensure that all published content reflects honesty, transparency, and respect for the intellectual property of others.
