About the Journal

Journal of Dedication in Community (JoDiC) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). The journal supports academics, researchers, and practitioners in publishing the outcomes of their community service and community engagement programs.

Aim
JoDiC aims to bridge academia and community development by sharing evidence-based programs that address real problems in society and lead to measurable, sustainable change.

Scope
The journal publishes articles in five fields: Education, Science and Technology, Social Humanities, Socio-Economics, and Appropriate Technology. Accepted articles include reports of community service programs that have been carried out and evaluated, as well as research-based community service using participatory approaches. Publication Frequency and Language
JoDiC has been published twice a year, in May and November, since May 2023. Articles are accepted in English and Indonesian.

Peer Review
All manuscripts are first screened by the editor for their fit with the journal's scope and author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this screening are evaluated through double-blind peer review, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to each other.

Accreditation and Indexing
JoDiC is nationally accredited as a SINTA 4 journal until 2028 and is indexed in SINTA and Google Scholar.

Open Access
All articles are freely available online without subscription or registration.
