BENTUK PERTUNJUKAN TUK TUK BRUG (TOK TOK BROK) OLEH SANGGAR SENI SUMEKAR KABUPATEN MADIUN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) merupakan kesenian tradisional yang berasal dari Desa Randualas, Kecamatan Kare, Kabupaten Madiun. Kesenian yang berawal dari sebuah ritual yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat untuk memusnahkan atau menghilangkan wabah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh gangguan makhluk halus berwujud wanita-wanita cantik. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana latar belakang berdirinya Sanggar Seni Sumekar, sebagai wadah pengembangan kesenian Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) dan bagaimana bentuk pertunjukan Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) oleh sanggar tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan objek material adalah Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) oleh Sanggar Seni Sumekar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdirinya Sanggar Seni Sumekar bertujuan untuk Nguri-Nguri Kabudayan Jawi, khususnya kebudayaan sekaligus kesenian yang ada di daerah Madiun yaitu Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok). Bentuk pertunjukan Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) oleh Sanggar Seni Sumekar merupakan bentuk pertunjukan kreasi baru seperti mozaik yang menggabungkan beberapa kesenian, seperti hadroh, sholawat, qira’ah, tari, teater, dan pencak silat yang kemudian menjadikannya satu kesatuan bentuk pertunjukan Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok). Kata Kunci : Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok), Bentuk Pertunjukan, Sanggar Seni Sumekar ABSTRACT Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) is a traditional art originally from Randualas Village, Kare District, Madiun Regency. Art that begun with a ritual performed by the community to destroy or eliminate disease outbreaks caused by the disturbance of spirits in the form of beautiful women. The existence of the Sumekar Art Studio led by Suroso, S.Pd. accompanied by Hardiono as the original Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) artist, gave a new nuance to the art. Created the form of Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) performances with new and unique creations, because in the performance structure there were several arts that combined into one unit, such as opening with hadroh prayer and qira’ah, followed by dance, theater, martial arts to the end of the show. This research discussed how the background of the establishment of the Sumekar Art Studio, as a forum for the development of the Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) art and how the Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) performance was perform by the studio. The form of the performance was present in the form of new creations with the addition of other artistic element, so that it had own characteristics for Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) by the Sumekar Art Studio. Research conducted use qualitative research methods with the material object is Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) by Sumekar Art Studio. The results of this study indicate that the establishment of the Sumekar Art Studio was aimed at Nguri-nguri Kabudayan Jawi, especially the culture and arts in the Madiun area, namely Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok). The form of the Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) performance by the Sumekar Art Studio, was form of new creation performances such as mosaics that combine several arts, like hadroh prayer, qira’ah, dance, theater, and martial arts which could make it a unified form of Tuk Tuk Brug (Tok Tok Brok) performance.
