Several earlier dance works served as references for this creation, namely Tari Gegerit, Lakone Dalang Wadon (2023), Legiun Estri, and Wa Ode Menerjang Badai (2020-2023). The theoretical framework includes choreography, visualization, dramatic dance, the concept of rebellion, and the historical meaning of candrasa. The creation method applies Jacqueline Smith's choreographic construction, a work-design approach following Sal Murgiyanto, and a development technique following Y. Sumandiyo Hadi through stimulus, exploration, improvisation, composition, and evaluation.
