Penerapan Modifikasi Motif Kangkung Batik Tanah Unesa pada Outer Ready-To-Wear

Abstrak

The modification of the kangkung motif has a beautiful and bright color. The purpose of this study was to apply modifications to Unesa's land kangkung motif in the outer ready to wear design and the result of applying Unesa's land kangkung motif modifications to become outer ready to wear. Another goal is to enrich the floral motifs on Unesa's batik, which are mostly floral. In addition, kangkung leaves have never been applied to Unesa's land batik motifs and are also used as outer ready-to-wear. This research method uses the Double Diamond approach. This method consists of 4 stages Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver. At the Discovery stage, we gathered insights about the modification of the kangkung motif and understood the outer ready-to-wear trend. Define stage, looking for sources of ideas that will be used to produce outer ready-to-wear in the form of moodboards. The develop stage, the development of 10 designs according to the moodboard. Followed by the delivery stage, design selection and manufacture of outer ready to wear products. Retrieval of data was analyzed using descriptive quantitative by looking for the mean (average) which shows that based on 10 outer ready to wear design developments, the observer chose design 8 with very good category and the result was outer ready to wear, as an embodiment of design is included in the good category so that it can be said that ready-to-wear ready-to-wear can be well received.
