Abstrak

Ready to wear deluxe clothing is ready to wear clothing using patterns that are not too complicated, but are more complex than ready to wear, and the process takes a little longer and requires the help of other people to wear. Geometry is a science that focuses on the combination of points, lines, angles, planes, flat figures and space (Muhandis, M.A. 2020). The geometries that will be applied to this clothing include: circle, trapezoid, frustum of cone, and torus. The aim of creating this work is to find out the application of the concept of geometry shapes and bright colors that depict the Tech Paradox (a sub-theme of Trend Forecasting 2023/2024). This method uses the Gustami method of creating works of art which has several stages, namely exploration, design, realization. The results of the creation of model 1 clothing apply the concept of torus geometry to the sleeve shape using a quilting sewing technique. However, the finished product on the sleeves lacks volume, and the ring eyelet on the chest also cannot penetrate the fabric perfectly. Clothing 2 contains a geometric frustum of cones and trapezoids with a modern and simple design, applied by cutting a basic shirt pattern with a hidden button model and adding a combination of Solo clove jumputan fabric which has a circular geometric pattern. On the arm, the frustum of the cone lacks volume.
