About the Journal
Darma Loka Journal is an open-access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Law, State University of Surabaya. The journal focuses on community service and legal empowerment based on legal service activities. The scope of topics includes access to justice, legal aid, human rights advocacy, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the field of law. Through the publication of empirical and practice-based articles, the journal encourages multidisciplinary approaches in legal development.
Current Issue
The second issue of this journal presents five community legal service articles that highlight the importance of legal literacy in village governance and community empowerment in Gunungkidul Regency. Collectively, these articles demonstrate the role of law as an instrument of social, economic, and environmental transformation at the village level.
