ANALISIS GAIRAIGO (外来語) DALAM MANGA ZERO’S TEA TIME VOLUME 1 KARYA TAKAHIRO ARAI

Abstract

Abstract
The language contacts among language communities have been facilitated due to the development of
technology. Loanword or gairaigo is one of the results of its language contact. Gairaigo means language that comes
from a foreign country outside of Japan. Sometimes, gairaigo can be the form of new words or words which has the
same meaning with different pronunciations in Japanese. This study focused on characteristic of gairaigo and semantic
change in Japanese. By using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research will take the data source from Manga
Zero's Tea Time Volume one by Takahiro Arai. The data was taken from the manga related to gairaigo, then it will be
collected by the note-taking method and analyzed by using the literature study method. The result pointed out that 11
gairaigo data have been found. The result showed that the most common gairaigo characteristic were abreviation,
followed by changing part of speech word. The factor of using gairaigo in this manga is because the word does not
have an equivalent in Japanese, it was more practical and efficient, and considered as a great taste of language. There
are 3 types of semantic changes of gairaigo in Zero's Tea Time manga, namely changes in meaning narrowing, changes
in meaning expanding, and changes in total meaning.

要旨
言語コミュニティ間の言語接触は、技術開発により容易になっている。言語接触の結果の１つは外来語
である。外来語というのは、外国から来た言語を意味である。外来語は新しい単語や、同じ意味で日本語の
発音が異なる形をしている場合がある。この研究は、外来語の特徴と日本語に意味変化に焦点を当てている。
本研究では、記述的研究を用いて、新井隆弘の「ゼロの日常」第１巻の漫画からデータソースに使う。そし
て、外来語のデータはメモを取る方法で収集され、文学研究方法で分析される。結果は、11 の外来語デー
タが見つかった。最も一般的な外来語の特徴は略語で、続いては品詞変化が見つかった。この漫画に外来語
の理由は、単語が日本語で混ざり合っていないし、実用的で効率的でありし、そして味の価値が高いと考え
られている。「ゼロの日常」の中には３種類の意味変化がある。例えば意味変化は狭くなり、意味変化は拡
大し、そして全体的な意味の変化である。
