Abstract

Abstract
Discourse becomes the highest and most complex unit of language. In discourse, there is a combination of the smallest
element to the largest element, ranging from phrases to sentences. Therefore, the discourse must contain cohesion and
coherence in order to become a dense, clear and easy-to-understand, such as one of the conditions of a news text.
Cohesion is distinguished into two types, grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. Grammatical cohesion includes
references, subtitutes, ellipses, and conjunctions. The aim of the research was to find out the use of grammatical
cohesion wichh focuses on the conjunction on NHK's online sports news. The methodology of this research was
descriptive qualitative method, where data was presented descriptively. The data was collected from the online
newspaper of NHK’s sport rubric, with a total 6 news text. As a result, 69 pieces of data were found.

要旨
談話は最も高く、最も複雑な言語単位である。談話では、フレーズから文まで、最小から最大までの要素の
組み合わせがある。したがって、容易に理解できる談話になるために、結束性と一貫性を含まなければなら
ない。結束性は、文法的結束性と語彙的結束性の二つのタイプに分けられる。文法的結束性には、指示、代
用、省略記号、接続詞が含まれる。本研究の目的は、NHK オンラインスポーツニュースにおける文法的結
束性の接続詞の使用を決定することである。６つの記事データを使用し、定性分析を行った。データ分析の
結果から、合計 69 の接続詞が得られた。
