METAFORA DALAM LIRIK LAGU PADA ALBUM ICHI 壱 ‘SATU’

Abstract

Abstract
Language is a communication tool. One of the techniques used for language is using the figurative
language, and the most widely used figurative language is metaphor. Metaphors are found in a great variety
of literature works. The metaphor used in a literature work of foreign languages has a sense that requires
interpretation and can thus be an obstacle to literary connoissions or foreign language learners. That
problem became the background of this research to explain metaphors in song lyrics of the Ichi 壱 „one‟
album. The purpose of this research is to describe the type of metaphor in song lyrics of the Ichi 壱 „one‟
album and to analyze the meaning of the metaphor contained. This research involves a qualitative approach.
In the research, 49 data are found with details of 3 anthropomorphic metaphors, 2 animal metaphors, 42
from concrete to abstract metaphors, and 2 synaesthetic metaphors. The metaphorical expression contains
certain connotative meanings according to the context, for example „red, yellow, blue‟ represents a human
expression, „heart album‟ represents a collection of memories, „flowers that will not wither‟ represents
feelings that have not changed. The meaning is obtained through the theory of vehicle, tenor, and grounds.

言語は意思疎通ツールである。言語技法の 1 つは比喩の使用であり、最も広く使用されている
比喩は隠喩である。隠喩は多くの種類の文学作品に見られる。外国語の文学作品で使われる隠
喩表現は文学愛好家や外国語学習者にとって障害となることができるように解釈を必要とする
意味を持っている。その問題は、「壱」のアルバムの歌詞の隠喩を調べる研究の背景になった。
この研究の目的は、アルバム「壱」の歌詞に隠喩のタイプを説明し、それに含まれる隠喩の意
味を分析することである。この研究の研究手法は記述的定性的を使用してる。この研究では、3
つの擬人化の隠喩、2 つの動物の隠喩、42 つの具体的なものから抽象的なものまでの隠喩、お
よび 2 つの共感覚の隠喩の詳細を含む 49 のデータが見つかった。隠喩表現には、文脈に応じた
特定の意味が含まれている。例えば「赤黄藍色」は人間の表情を表し、「心のアルバム」は記
憶の塊を表し、「枯れない花」は変化していない感情を表する。その意味は、車両、テナー、
および根拠の理論を通じて得られる。
