Directive illocutionary speech acts refer to speech acts in which the interlocutor does something according to
what the speaker says. does something according to what the speaker says. Anime Kuroshitsuji is one of the
animated works of art that can be used to understand this type of language act. The theoretical basis of this
research is pragmatics. The data is analyzed based on the theory of Wijana and Rohmadi, Saifudin, and M.
Ramlan. There are 59 data in total overall, with 17 forms of language action including 7 commands, 3
requests, 3 prohibitions, 1 permission, and 3 suggestions. In addition, there are 42 data describing the meaning
of command language actions, with 27 meanings of command, 6 meanings of request, 4 meanings of
prohibition, 1 meaning of permission, and 3 meanings of suggestion. meaning of prohibition, 1 meaning of
permission, and 4 meanings of advice. The command form is the most commonly used, which is largely
influenced by the relationship between the master and servant, where the master naturally gives orders to the
