RAGAM BAHASA YANG TERKANDUNG DALAM VERSI KEIGO DAN VERSI ASLI LIRIK LAGU INU NO OMAWARI-SAN

Abstract

Grammar in communication or in conversation is also called polite language. In Japanese, it is called
keigo. In communication, grammar can be used as a reflection of the different social levels, levels of
honor or standing of the individuals involved in the communication or conversation. Keigo is very
important to master especially for those who have a job, because it is very important to talk to superiors
and colleagues with keigo and can also help to talk to customers to sound polite, friendly, and respectful
and nurturing. Keigo is also called respectful language and is included in sociolinguistics or shakai
gengogaku because keigo is included in the science of language varieties, and it can be seen that
sociolinguistics is used in everyday life in society. This research uses a qualitative approach descriptive
method, design or type of research is studying documents, data collection techniques with content studies,
data analysis with inductive analysis. The number of data results for the original version of Inu no
Omawari-San song lyrics is 2 data, all of which are teineigo. The number of data results for the keigo
version of Inu no Omawari-San song lyrics is 16 data, 12 data using sonkeigo, 2 data using kenjougo, and
2 data using teineigo. And the factors that influence the use of keigo in Inu no Omawari-San song
situations are age, status, familiarity, private or public, and education only.
