PENGGUNAAN MAJAS PERBANDINGAN DAN DIKSI DALAM LAGU ENKA (演歌) POPULER KARYA HIBARI MISORA

Abstract

ABSTRACT
Figurative language plays a significant role in shaping both the style and the aesthetic value of literary texts. Its use
needs to be precise to help create a specific mood and tone. This study focuses on describing the types of comparative
figurative expressions and connotative diction found in a selection of Hibari Misora’s popular enka songs. Five of her well
known songs were chosen as the research subjects. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with the "simak
catat" (observe and note) technique for data collection. The data were then analyzed using both the distributional method and
the identity method, including the substitution technique. The findings reveal a total of 40 instances of comparative figurative
language: 5 similes, 11 metaphors, 12 personifications, and 12 allegories. In addition, there were 13 examples of connotative
diction across the five songs. Altogether, 53 relevant data points were identified. These results suggest that figurative
comparisons and connotative diction in Hibari Misora’s enka songs serve not only as stylistic devices but also as artistic tools
that communicate deeper meanings, enhance the emotional and aesthetic experience for listeners, and contribute to the unique
musical identity of enka.

要旨
文学作品において比喩表現は、文体や表現の美しさに大きく影響を与える要素のひとつである。これら
の表現は作品に特有の雰囲気や語り口を与えるために、適切に使われることが重要である。本研究では、美空
ひばりの代表的な演歌5曲を対象に、比喩的表現（特に比較に基づく表現）と、含意や感情を帯びた語彙（共起
的語彙）の使用について分析を行った。調査方法としては、記述的な質的分析を用い、「視聴・記録法」によ
ってデータを収集した。分析は視聴・歌詞などより比喩における文面を抜粋するなどの方法で調査を行った。
その結果、比喩表現としては、直喩5例、隠喩11例、擬人法12例、諷喩12例、計40例が確認された。また、共
起的な語彙は13例見られ、総データ数は53件であった。これらの結果から、美空ひばりの演歌における比喩表
現や共起的語彙は、単なる文体の工夫にとどまらず、深い意味の伝達や聴き手の感情に訴えかける芸術的な役
割を果たしていることが明らかとなった。また、演歌というジャンル特有の音楽的アイデンティティを支える
重要な要素でもあると考えられる。
