Abstract

Branded Story is a card archetype in the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game that has a variative kanji constructions in
its naming. This research has a problem framing such as to answer the form of naming, the arrangement of kanji
elements, and also the influence of stories on the semantic meaning of names. The implemented method is
descriptive qualitative with documentative study collection to emphasize various of semantics usage and purposes
inside the card naming within their interconnection by the story. This research highlights the diverse interprations
of card naming through semantic analysis, particularly in relation to kanji construction and Branded Story
connection. The findings disclose that kanji construction play a significant role in semantics to convey and
interconnect with explicit meaning, thhematic significance, and narrative consistency within the archetype. This
proof semantic elements not only enrich meaning but functional purposes in card naming interpretation which
concludes that the card naming inside Branded archetype are intricately constructed and reflected through
interconnection of semantic elements supported by kanji construction to narrative and thematic symbolism of
kanji.
