Penerapan Strategi Performance Assessment-Driven Instruction untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa SMAN 1 Baureno
Abstract
Keterampilan proses sains merupakan hal penting yang harus dilatihkan dan dinilai dalam pembelajaran. Hasil observasi di SMAN 1 Baureno menunjukkan bahwa siswa kurang menguasai keterampilan proses sains. Penilaian yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran hanya terbatas pada kompetensi pengetahuan. Untuk itu, dilakukan penelitian terkait penerapan strategi performance assessment-driven instruction (PA-DI) guna mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi optik geometri. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental jenis desain the non-equivalent control grup design, menggunakan dua kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen dan eksperimen 1 yang diamati dari aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa untuk dua kali pertemuan menyatakan terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Berdasarkan uji t satu pihak, keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol. Terdapat rata-rata perbedaan keterampilan proses sains sebelum dan sesudah penerapan strategi PA-DI yang diperoleh dari uji t berpasangan. Ditemukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains terendah adalah menganalisis data. Secara keseluruhan keterampilan proses sains dapat dilatihkan dengan strategi PA-DI dengan hasil meningkat.

Abstract
Science process skill is the important thing that must be taught and assessed in learning. Based on observation in SMAN 1 Baureno that students are lack implementing science process skill in learning. The assessment only on knowledge term. Therefore, This research was conducted related to implementing PA-DI strategy that purpose to describe process of learning and result of students science process skill in optics geometry. This research used experimental methode whole the design is quasi experimental and used the non equivalent controll design by using 2 experimental classes and 1 controlled class. Learning process in experimental class and experimental class 1 were successfully done. Based on one side t test, science process skill of experimental class is better than controlled class. There is difference before and after implemented performance assessment-driven instruction strategy by using pair t test. The lowest science process skill is data analysis. In can be imferred that science process skill is can be taught using PA-DI strategy.
