Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) dengan Teknik Index Card Match untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Fluida Dinamik di MAN Mojosari

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan, mendiskripsikan hasil belajar, dan mengetahui respon siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan teknik index card match pada materi fluida dinamik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini meliputi kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, dan XI MIPA 3. Sebelum diberi perlakuan berupa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan teknik index card match siswa terlebih dahulu diberi soal pretest dan setelah diberi perlakuan siswa diberi soal posttest. data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t berpasangan, analisis n-gain dan analisis varians. Berdasarkan uji t berpasangandidapatkan t_hitung kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 3  berturut-turut 22,16; 23,10; 20,02 dengan t_tabel sebesar 1,68. Karena nilai t_hitung > t_tabel, maka hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada taraf signifikansi 5 % setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan teknik index card match. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis n-gain didapatkan peningkatan pada ketiga kelas tidak berbeda dalam kategori sedang. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada ketiga kelas mendapatkan kategori sangat baik dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan teknik index card match berkategori sangat baik di ketiga kelas.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation, the learning outcomes, and students response after the application of cooperative learning model type TPS with the index card match technique on fluid dynamic material. The type of research used is pre experiment with one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of three classes which are XI MIPA 1 class, XI MIPA 2 class, and XI MIPA 3 class. Before being given treatment in the form of application of cooperative learning model type TPS with index card match technique the students are given a pretest questions and after being treated the students are given a posttest. The collected data were analyzed using paired t-test, n-gain analysis and variance analysis. Based on paired t test, it is found that t_count class XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 3 are respectively 22,1; 23,10; 20,02 with t_table = 1,68. Because the value of t_count> t_table, then student learning outcomes have increased at 5% significance level after applied model of cooperative learning type TPS with index card match technique. Based on the calculation of n-gain analysis, the improvement in the three classes is not different in the medium category. Implementation of learning in the three classes get very good category and student responses to the application of cooperative learning model type  TPS with index card match technique is very good category in all three classes.
