MOTIVASI-MOTIVASI YANG SAMA PADA ANAK DALAM MENGIKUTI KLUB BOLABASKET TRIKARYA WARRIOR KRIAN KABUPATEN SIDOARJO

Abstract

Nowadays, basketball is a very popular sport. It can be seen from the number of children who are enrolled and involved actively in joining basketball club in their region. Certainly, there are many things that motivate the children to join basketball club.

 That is why the researcher takes motivation research in joining basketball club as the theme of the study to find out what motivation are arising in joining the basketball club. Descriptive qualitative method is used in this research by using questionnaire as instrument. The subjects of the research are all of the children who are enrolled and involved actively in joining Trikarya Warrior basketball club.

Based on the result of the research and discussion, it can be concluded in the same motivations in children to joining basketball club Trikarya Warrior Krian Sidoarjo are they want to be able to play basketball, their hobby or pleasure, developing their basketball skill, joining basketball championships, getting basketball achievement, want to make their parents proud of them, increasing basketball knowledge, developing their talent,  keeping health, and spending their spare time.
