The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of MODEREN boarding walks on the gross motor skills of Down syndrome students at SLB Siswa Budhi Surabaya. The instrument of this study was to use the method of following the test above the board modification tool before being given treatment and after being given treatment. This research is a type of quantitative research with the research design used is a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 8 children with Down syndrome using purposive sampling technique. The mean value of the pretest was 67.50 with a standard deviation of 6.414 and the average posttest was 80.63 with a standard deviation of 8.551. T-test uses paired samples test with a significance value of p <0.05. The results of the pretest and posttest research are known that the value of t-count is -4.336 with probability (Sig) 0.002, then it shows the p-value paired samples test <0.05. Based on the data, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of MODEREN boarding walk to the gross motor skills of students with Down syndrome in SLB Siswa Budhi Surabaya.
