Abstract
Swimming is a type of sport that is in great demand by the community. Whether as an achievement sport or a recreational sport. Parents hope that their children will have swimming skills from an early age as an effort to maintain their safety. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to new adaptation patterns, which have changed the frequency of outdoor activities. This study aims to determine the motivation and anxiety levels of parents who involve their children in swimming practice at the Fun Swimming Academy (FSA) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This quantitative descriptive research method was carried out by means of a survey. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to 31 parents of students who took their children to practice swimming at the FSA. The results obtained show that the biggest motivation for parents to include their children to continue to practice swimming at the FSA (Fun Swimming Academy) during the Covid 19 pandemic is for children to stay active in sports and to have good development, where both have the same percentage of 95, 8%. While the percentage of parents' anxiety about Covid 19 is 34.4% which is in the low category.
