Abstract

The study aims to Studying the contribution of the traditional boi-boian games to the crude motor abilities of a 7-10 yearsold child in the village of sidokampir budugsidorejo sumobito district of the jombang. This type of research is a
preexperiment using the design of one group pre-test post-test. The population in this study is a 7-10 years - old child in
the village of sidokampir budugsidorejo sumobito Jombang. The sample in this study is as many as 10 children using
the simple random sampling. Data obtained by test and measurement using the powerability test which was done twice
before and after treatment. The analysis of the data was used as a t-test specimen. The use of other motor development
elements involves agility, hand coordination of the eye, balance and speed. Studies have shown that traditional boiboian games can contribute significantly to the gross motor skills of 7-10-year-olds. Tests revealed an average of 7-10
year-olds' crude motor skills increased by 6.22. In the process of data analysis carried out getting sig marks. (2-tailled)
0.041. The result may be concluded that traditional boi-boian games contribute significantly to the gross motor ability
of children in 7-10 year olds.
