Abstract

ABSTRACT

Fitness (Fitness Sports) is one of the sports that is now more in demand and become a trend and lifestyle for people to gain body health. The simplest weight training exercises are run to have physical fitness, especially for people who are busy in their habits and work activities until it is difficult to manage the time between work and exercise. The purpose of this study was to effect of weighted exercise with the set system method on chest muscle mass members of The Sea Results Sport Center & Gym Gresik. The method used in this research was the one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is members or members of The Sea Products Sport Center &Gym Gresik which amounts to 55 people. Sampling techniques of this study by purposive sampling and sampling this study is active members as many as 7 men. Analyze data with Kolmogorov Smirnov test and t-test. The results showed a correlation value of 0.959, which means that there is a strong relationship between the sample before and after treatment. And there is a significant difference between before and after treatment with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that weight training with set system method affects the chest muscle mass members of The Sea Results Sport Center & Gym Gresik.
