Abstract

Body Mass Index (BMI) is the ratio obtained based on the calculation between body weight and height, where the measurement of height starts from the tip of the hair to the tips of the feet (MOH, 2002). The IMT of Hockey players who are members of the Hockey Sports Training Center in Gresik Regency is very diverse, this is not an issue that the coach needs to think about because in playing hockey the most important thing that every athlete must have is the muscle endurance of each player. This is quite unfortunate considering the player's body mass index is also considered because it can affect agility so that the achievements obtained are much more increased. In carrying out this research, researchers adopted this type of descriptive correlational research by connecting the independent variables and the dependent variables using intervening variables. The results showed that there were 5 respondents with the Fat BMI category with 1 person in the Good agility category, 1 person in the Very Good agility category, 1 person in the Medium agility category, 1 person in the Very Bad agility category, 1 person in the Bad agility category. There were 7 respondents with the Normal BMI category with details of 2 people in the Very Good agility category, 2 people in the Good agility category, 3 people in the Medium agility category.
