ANALISIS KAPASITAS AEROBIK MAKSIMAL (VO2MAX) PADA ATLET SEPAK BOLA UNESA

Abstract

Sport is not only important for human health and life it is also a popular thing. The sport that is most popular by the community is football which does not know gender, strata, and age to play football. Football is a sporting activity played in groups of 11 players and played by two teams. When playing football, aerobic endurance is needed by players. When the player has a good aerobic energy system capacity, the player will be able to carry out exercises and carry out instructions from the coach without any decrease or disturbance in the physical condition that occurs in the player. This research was carried out at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) with 20 athletes in the subjects of this study. The data collection method used a survey with data collection techniques in the form of test results to be carried out by the subject. The instrument in this study using the MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) test is one way to determine a person's level of physical fitness. Overall, the research results are; Average = 58,685; maximum value = 64.3; minimum value = 51.9 and standard deviation = 3.407928063. A total of 15 subjects (75%) falls into the category that has a very good VO2max value and there are 5 subjects (5%) falls into the category that has a good VO2max value. This it can be concluded that the level of maximum aerobic endurance (VO2max) in East Java PON football players is high.
