Abstract

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic was used as a meaningful moment by students by carrying out lectures and activities at home by carrying out online education. For students majoring in health education and recreation, State University of Surabaya, it must be a new routine that must be tried. Activity restrictions will definitely affect students' fitness levels if they do not have an understanding of the importance of protecting fitness to increase immunity as a personal avoidance against the spread of Covid 19. The purpose of this study was to identify physical activity in the form of exercise that is suitable to do during the pandemic and the frequency of exercise and intensity of exercise. , in order to maintain and increase immunity or immunity to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. The method in this study uses non-experimental research, namely a quantitative descriptive approach by means of data analysis using a percentage description. The number of respondents was 60 students majoring in health education and recreation, State University of Surabaya. The survey results show that the level of intensity of physical activity of students majoring in health education and recreation is dominantly carried out every day and every 3 days, students' physical activity is dominantly carried out by jumping jack, the frequency of physical activity tends to be done every 30 minutes. exercise, while the time taken during physical activity is dominant in the morning and evening. The conclusion of this survey shows that students of sports science study programs have relatively good and regular fitness levels.
