THE EFFECT OF MODIFICATION OF BALANCE PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES ON MOTOR SKILLS OF EARLY CHILDREN IN THE ADAPTATION OF NEW LIFE

Abstract

Physical activity is a very important concern for the community, especially during the adaptation period to a new life, one of which is by modifying the movement of physical activity for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of modifying physical activity on the balance of early childhood at the Al-Ichlas Tajungsari Foundation in Surabaya during the adaptation period to a new life. This experimental research is included in quantitative descriptive research with the One Group pretest-posttest Design method as data collection, the instruments used were observation sheets and SOPs and then for data collection using a balance physical activity modification test intervention with Simple Random sampling to determine the effect of balance physical activity modification on motor skills. The subject of the research is the early childhood foundation of Al-Ichlas Tanjungsari Surabaya Foundation with a population of 20 children and a sample of 10 children. The results of this study indicate that physical activity balance is dominated by women with 55% while men with 45%. It was found that the TGMD-2 analysis showed that balance physical activity skills increased by 30%, both dynamic and static balance. The conclusion obtained is that the modification of physical activity affects the motor skills of early childhood at the Al-Ichlas Tnjungsari Panti, Surabaya well
