In the HSBC Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2021 match, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting from Indonesia was defeated by Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand in the last 32 with 3 sets of games, the first set was won by Ginting with a score of 21-19, lost in the second set with a score of 14-21 and lost in third set with a score of 13-21 . Ginting's defeat in the championship needs to be analyzed using a SWOT analysis so that the defeat does not happen again. This attracts researchers to formulate a problem formulation, namely " SWOT Analysis Of The Failure Of Individual Player Badminton By Anthony Sinisuka Ginting In The Half Of 32 Hsbc Daihatsu Indonesia Masters Bali 2021". The aim of the researcher taking this research is to find out the differences in strengths, Weakness, opportunities and threats between Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Kunlavut Vitidsarn so that they can be used as evaluation material for the Indonesian team. The research method used is descriptive analysis with an ex-post de facto approach and takes the video source of the Ginting vs Vitidsarn match from www.vidio.com. The results of the study using SWOT analysis Anthony Sinisuka Ginting has strengths in netting strokes and hard smashes. On the other hand, Ginting also has a weakness in anticipating a high and thin lob shot with a line area that makes Ginting fail to do dropshots and smashes. hard lobs and smash that make Ginting make mistakes.
