PENGARUH LATIHAN CONTINUOUS RUNNING TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VO2Max ATLET PORPROV BOLA TANGAN KABUPATEN GRESIK

Abstract

Physical fitness is the body's ability to adapt to given physical giving without causing excessive fatigue. This Continuous Running exercise is an exercise carried out by every athlete who is given a running program without stopping continuously and there is no rest time. The purpose of this study I took whether there is an increase to determine the effectiveness of vo2Max increase using the Continuous running exercise method as a reference for comparing trainers. The type of research used is quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods, and the research sample consists of 18 Gresik Regency athletes. This research uses the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT), In addition, the first group of athletes was given treatment and the second group of athletes without being given the continuous running training treatment. The analytical techniques used are descriptive quantitaif, Data Normality Test using Kolmogrov-Smirnov, Homogeneity Test and Paired Sample T Data Hypothesis Test. The results of the study provide that the pretest normality test and postest treatment and without treatment of athletes are of normal distribution residual value. Pretest Homogeneity Test as well as postest administration and without Treatment of athletes that homogeneous data. The paired sample T-Test gave the athletes treatment that is worth (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05, that it was concluded that there was a noticeable difference between MFT results in the results of pretest postest data which means that continuous running exercises have an effect on increasing athletes endurance significantly.
