PERBEDAAN TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI KONDISI FISIK DARI SISWA KELAS 5 SD NEGERI 2 BODAG PANGGUL, KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK

Abstract

The need to maintain physical fitness so as not to get tired easily when doing heavy or light activities. With a variety of sports exercises can improve a person's physical fitness, such as walking and jogging. The purpose of this study is to encourage students to be more active in sports activities that aim to improve their physical fitness and physical condition and to find out whether there is an effect of walking and jogging on improving the physical fitness of 5th grade students of SD Negeri 2 Bodag, Panggul District, Trenggalek Regency. This research uses quantitative descriptive with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this study were 14 students who were divided into two groups and given different treatments, namely walking and jogging. Before and after the treatment, the students' physical fitness will be measured using the Multistage Fitness Test. From Pre-Test and Post-Test data. The result is that there is a significant effect of giving walking and jogging treatments on students' physical fitness (sig <0.05). This is indicated by the difference in the mean or mean of the pretest and posttest groups of 29.2643 > 39.7857. So it can be concluded that giving jogging and walking exercises has an effect on increasing physical fitness.
