ANALISIS STRENGTH, WEAKNESS, OPPORTUNITY, THREATS PEMBINAAN PRESTASI CABANG OLAHRAGA HOKI KABUPATEN GRESIK MENJELANG PORPROV JATIM VII 2022

Abstract

Sports achievement development is carried out with the aim of achieving a sporting achievement, carried out in a planned, gradual, tiered and sustainable manner so as to produce athletes and prospective athletes who have brilliant achievements and become benchmarks for further development. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in Gresik Regency hockey achievement development. The methods used are questionnaires, interviews, observations and the use of matrix methods. The subjects in this study were coaches, administrators and hockey athletes in Gresik Regency who will compete in PORPROV JATIM VII 2022. The results of the research show the strengths of having coaches who are licensed and experienced both in East Java and nationally, and have trained athletes. Weaknesses in owned and used facilities and infrastructure, such as: fields, goalkeeper guards, which are limited in number and inadequate. Chance to win a medal at PORPROV JATIM VII 2022 and chance to get more support from the private sector. The threat of decreased athlete motivation is due to less than optimal support from the government in terms of infrastructure so that the competition that will be faced at PORPROV JATIM VII 2022 will be even higher.
