Abstract
This study aims to identify the free throw shooting by Lebron James in terms of biomechanics from the angle of the elbow, the angle of the shoulder, the angle of elevation and the speed of the shot.
This researcher is a type of non-experimental research with quantitative descriptive analysis research methods using Kinovea software. The subject of this research is Leborn James, a professional NBA basketball player from the Los Angeles Lakers team. While the object in this study is the 2020 NBA Finals (Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat) match.
Based on the results of the study showed that the percentage of success in shooting Lebron James' free throws was 63%. The effective Lebron James elbow angle to produce the ball in is between the angles 740-910. The angle of elevation of the Lebron James ball that is effective for producing the ball in is between an angle of 500-650. The effective ball speed shooting from Lebron James to produce incoming balls is between 6.05 m/s - 6.92 m/s.
