Abstract
Viktor Axelsen is a badminton player who was born in Ondese, Denmark, January 4, 1994 and is currently ranked number one in the world in the men's singles sector after overtaking Kento Momoto, a men's singles player from Japan. Vitidsarn is a badminton player who relies on right hand strength. His prowess in the world of badminton was proven in 2017, when he won a gold medal at the Junior Badminton World Championships. Viktor Axelsen is the winner of the 2021 BWF Tours Final. This research uses a descriptive type of research, namely “Explaining a picture that occurs in the phenomenon, which in this case is the activity being researched, then conclusions are drawn. the data obtained after conducting this research is the result of an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of badminton playing skills in the 2021 BWF TOURS FINAL Final match between Viktor Axelsen and Kunlavut Vitidsarn. After conducting the research process, the results of the research can be concluded that the punching technique that is often used by these two teams is the mainstay punch technique, from the blows that Viktor Axelsen often uses is the defense punch technique (59.17%) and the weakness lies in the smash hit. (45%) while the advantage lies in the defense blow (38.10%). While the mainstay punch, from the blows that Kunlavut Vitidsar often uses is the defense punch technique (40.64%) and for the weakness lies in the defense shot (28.57%) while the strengths lie in the defense shot (45%).
