Abstract

To assess the success elements of the Indonesian men's doubles team that won the 2022 Al England, a SWOT analysis of strength, weakness, opportunity, and threats is needed. The approach, utilized is descriptive with a qualitative study design, which describes anything that is discovered or

occurs on the field in the match film. Interviews with two licensed badminton world federation

(BWF) level 1 coaches, video interviews of athletes on social media or television, and articles on

the internet were used to gather data. Interviews, observations, and documentation were employed

as data gathering strategies. The study's findings are as follows: (1) Strength includes the

Indonesian pair's high fighting spirit and playing with nothing to lose, as well as having a fairly

effective defense. (2) Weakness include: The Indonesian duo lacks power, therefore they rely on

counter-attacks; many serve faults occur in order for them to decrease their attitude. (3)

Opportunities include: The Indonesian pair is ranked higher than the Indonesian pair, and there are

numerous pressures to win, which might impact mentality; the enemy pair frequently makes their

own blunders in long rallies. (4) Threats include: enemy pair's experience in major championships

and higher ranking than Indonesian pair, enemy pair's hard to predict flick serve.
